suggesting on this hellsite that a historical figure might have been bisexual: um sweaty they didn’t use those labels back then so it’s a bit of a stretch to apply them retroactively, also we all know that bisexuality was only invented like ten years ago (if I’m being generous) so yeah, not very likely

suggesting that a historical figure might have been gay or lesbian on this hellsite: yes! you’re absolutely correct! this interpretation of their sexuality is the only correct one and if you disagree you’re a homophobe/lesbophobe and also probably a pedophile

alternative reaction to suggesting that a historical figure might have bisexual on this hellsite: um sweaty are you sure you want to claim them as a historical LGBT+ figure? because I’ve been digging for information on them and found that they did this terrible thing when they were five (they apologized for it, but I’m not going to mention that) so yeah they’re not really a good example of representation for the community since they’re basically hitler if you think about it, sowwy uwu

Hey guys, some simple help?

After filling out that personal thing i feel i need to try to make time for things. SO! Anyone have some good books, comics, mangas, tv shows, movies and other to recommend and why? I would love to tackle a few more things during my few bits of downtime. Thank you!

Name or nickname: Willow Wisps is my witch community name, Nami is an old nickname I do not use much

Relationship status: In a Relationship

Favorite colors: Maroon, Purple, Black

Lipstick or chapstick: You have to put chapstick on before lipstick, at least I do, my lips crack too easily.

Three favorite foods: Steak with onions, Pot roast with vegetables and Stuffed Mushrooms

Song stuck in my head: “Bad Kids” – Lady Gaga (it pops in my head randomly ever few weeks)

Last song I listened to: Europa – Globus

Last movie I watched: Venom (i haven’t had much time for movies recently)

Top three shows: oh gosh I change shows I like so often. I use to love something then I hate it due to one thing or another (usually fandom or badly written episodes or change of creators etc). Three I can think of now. Cutthroat Kitchen- honestly I just love this show. It makes me laugh and its good background sound for when I have to multi-task. Sailor Moon- Yeah I’m rewatching it and likely you all could tell seeing all my reblogs of it recently. just reliving the youth! Twilight Zone and Tales from the Crypt  – you do not forget about these amazing shows.

Books I’m currently reading: I don’t have time anymore 😦 maybe I will get a few new books later on from the bookstore once I have more time. But right now nothing other than a few webcomics.

Last thing I Googled: Baja fresh locations

Time: 12:59pm

How many blankets do you sleep with? anywhere from 1 to 6 depending on the time of year. I don’t like running heat too much, mostly because its older floor heaters which worry me.

Dream trip: Honestly I have two. One is going up to Alaska and seeing the whales, spending a snowy Christmas and Yule in a cabin and just spend it with close friends and partner. the other dream trip is a trip through different parts of Asia like Japan, South Korea and parts of Malaysia (though due to some things over there now is not a good time to visit some of those places :c )

Anything you really want? A bigger paycheck! That would honestly solve many of my worries. Time –  my room is a horrific mess. I hate it. I want to unpack, I want to organize, I want to buy shelves and put up posters. But anxiety mixed with working 10 to 14 hour days every day just… it hasn’t happened. I hate myself for it. I hate how my room looks. Hate it. I look like a gross horrific messy person.

TAG, YOU’RE IT!

Oh goodness I do not know if I can think of 10 blogs but ones that come to mind (as long as they don’t mind) are: @enaaaaaam @sailoraquila @stitchingandbewitching @beenbekossi and anyone else who wants to. Those are just blogs I have rarely or just haven’t had a chance to speak with.

On a different note: had to kick someone out of the bathroom for trying to shoot up (non-guest. I do not know why they think they can sneak into a 4 star hotel and look like they aren’t sneaking in to do drugs). I guess Im the most intimidating female employee

“They have guns, wear badges and patrol Michigan’s streets.

They’re even in uniform. But they’re not real cops.

Across Michigan, police departments have enlisted civilians to work alongside licensed officers to patrol communities and even assist real cops with arrests. But unlike the regular officers licensed by the state, these armed civilians are unregulated.

A Detroit Free Press investigation found there are no state-established training requirements for reserve officers, as they are commonly known; no standards for screening their qualifications, and no process for monitoring their conduct. The state agency responsible for police licensing and training is not regulating reserve officers — despite gaining authority last year to do just that — and has no idea how many such unlicensed volunteers there are statewide.”

full offense but none of you would have ever survived fanfiction.net in 2009

bold of you to assume I was not forged in that dark crucible

I swear most people on this site would not have been able to deal with some of the fandoms I grew up in. Black butler, Bleach, Naruto – the list goes on. I mean even the creator of Black Butler drew extreme NSFW content of Ceil with Sebastian and said in numerous interviews how they were cannonly together as far as they were concerned after the series. Naruto was just something else. The first fandoms I was truly in, and honestly, I miss that non-toxicity. I remember if something was your “NOTP” people would just not bring it up with you. I hardly remember much fighting or hate ships or “I hope you die if you ship characterA with CharacterB”. I guess I’m just old, but honestly, I miss that fandom environment.

today in ‘i wasn’t actually expecting this, but i really should have expected this’: i do a lot of visa application invites for people for work, and the passport first page for just about every country i’ve seen has clear, black text printed on light/white background with maybe some simple pastel-coloured designs. and for the first almost-three-decades of my life, i was happy in the naive belief that all passports around the world were similar; that one day all countries of the world gathered in Geneva or wherever and formed a Passport Design Committee where they all agreed on the general aesthetics for passports worldwide.

then, about two weeks back, i saw an american passport for the first time, and it straight up has a giant-ass flag, an eagle, a fucking ear of corn, and the first line of the constitution on it, the text is on glaring multicoloured backdrop, and while i was caught off-guard by it, it is also completely in line with its country of origin, and also i feel like this tells me everything i need to know about america as a nation.

@languagecrazy @misacoh

for anyone wondering if it’s really that bad

…American here and I really shouldn’t be surprised to find out that nobody else in the world does this and yet every single fucking time

Y’all couldn’t recognize an ear of corn if it danced a tango outside your bedroom window.

Those are stalks of wheat.

I never read a comment so condescending in my life.

As a hotel worker I see passports of all sorts. I have found there are some other countries with bright colors, but none go to the extend as the United States. Though I will be honest, it always makes me smile. Not patriotic reasons or anything more so of the whole “yes we are the loud ones who even have the over the top passports, this is our legacy”. Idk it makes me chuckle because we are so over the top.

Me: I slept through the rain, you get water I scooped from a puddle when I woke up 🙂

I second this with-

“it hasn’t rained for weeks so I’m just going to stand in the shower with a bowl and play thunder sounds, close enough”

the man who for once, in the entire history of movie boyfriends, does not give a shit that his girlfriend is within 100 yards of her ex, only that her ex is very ill and needs some tender loving care because wtf is that black space blob

THIS! And even at some point when Anne started to launch into explanations of ‘I swtg nothing is going on between me and Eddie’ he was quick to be like ‘that’s not even an issue. the issue is that he’s about to die and we need to find him????’ At no point was he ever jealous or possessive and he was always very kind and nice to Eddie because he feels secure in his relationship with Anne and trusts her.

Today is a rare day where I only work one job and its not for about 4 hours before I have to leave. Time to steal everything I come across in skyrim so I can afford the house I want early game because I do what I want.

If you heat amethyst, naturally or in a lab, it will turn into citrine. This is how citrine occurs in nature, it’s just rare to find citrine in nature.

If you hear someone call citrine “heat treated amethyst”, they’re just describing the process in which it is created, both in a lab or in nature. Calling it citrine is not false advertisement, that’s the name of the stone.

My super innocent friend who grew up super super strict Mormon. Just bought a book that is about ‘omegas and alphas, like wolves!’ And I don’t think shes aware of what she bought.

Update: she texted me this morning saying the book is not what she expected. she likes the story but she is flustered by the sex scenes. She also is confused if the one of the main characters is a guy or a girl. She still hasn’t caught on to the a/b/o thing yet.

i swear to the gods, if one more blog I follow posts images of them trying to show they are ‘healthy’ but having their hands fit around their thigh and saying ‘im almost thin enough!’ i’m going to die. In most cases having thighs so thin you can link your fingers around them is a bad thing. Often it is not healthy. Stop. Promoting. Eating. Disorders.

The critics are all cowards

Was Venom a cinematic marvel? No. It had its issues: slow start up, unimpressive villain, poor editing at times, etc. But it did have (in my opinion) a great lead, good story, interesting scenes, funny moments and self aware humor. It wasn’t stunning or perfect. But, it was fun. People like it because of those reasons. Critics always look at movies differently than audiences. What I say is: if you want to see and if you like it, then like it. Just because critics don’t like something doesn’t make it bad. It has its flaws but i thoroughly thought it was a fun movie. I honestly don’t usually like super hero movies, and I know this is something people will hate: I do not like most marvel movies. They are pretty and well shot, but I get bored of the stories and the humor isn’t usually for me. I liked this one so meh, I probably am not the audience the critics were critiquing for.
