Just a little taste of what’s going on at my workplace right now.
We have been fighting for a raise because a lot of people who work at Disney have to work 60+ hours a week just to get by.
What was their response? “Ok, everyone gets a bonus. $1000. But not all at once. $500 now and $500 at the end of the year.” (in case some people get fired or quit, so they don’t have to pay the full amount to those people).
Of course, we were like “No, that’s not what we said we wanted. We want a PERMANENT RAISE.”
So Disney was like OK, fine, whoever is NOT part of the union fighting for a raise gets the $1000 bonus 🙂
Meanwhile, we are still fighting for a raise…

I’m sorry, this has 62 notes and that is INCREDIBLE BULLSHIT.

I’ve been watching Disney since I was 4 years old. So basically since i was 4 years old, Disney’s been making a profit off of me; the same way they make a profit off of the average 4 year old.

I don’t care what dystopian madness of a world you live in, if your primary audience is CHILDREN, you are ethically freakin obligated to behave and treat your employees in a humane manner.

You don’t get to make literally billions of dollars off of kids’ wonder and awe and hope in the world while exploiting and contributing to the suffering of 100,000+ human beings.

You don’t get to fucking do that.

>:[ spread this. What the fuck, Disney?

June 30 2018 – A waitress in Georgia takes no shit from a man who gropes her while walking by. Ryan Cherwinski, 31, of Palm Bay, Florida, was taken into custody at the scene, in front of his wife and two kids, and charged with sexual battery.

i hope his wife divorces him

Direct. Action.

God this gives me so much pussy energy. The way he keeps walking because he “knows” there will be no consequences… except when there are and she slams his bitch ass straight in that chair. Like he must be so shocked

Why shouldn’t you wash your face in the shower?

We tend to shower with water hotter than the sink, and the skin on our face doesn’t take it well. It strips the healthy oils from your face, and then your face overcompensates by spitting out twice as much oil, while your skin suffers being dry.

I hate when people say “don’t”, though. It’s absolutely fine to wash your face in the shower if you turn the heat down a bit while doing so. The temperature that feels just warmer than lukewarm on your body will still feel hot on your face, and that’s the temp you should wash with daily. (Steaming your face with a hot rag is fine, because you aren’t actively washing and rinsing, and skin types are different, but generally washing in shower temps will cause a very oily/broken out and simultaneously dry face).

antibiotics DO WHAT???

EXACTLY go back to that

“That’s what I feel death is like its like “bopbopbopbop!” then its over”

“Okay avoid the fish bones-” slams onto the fish bones immediately “FECK!”

“Uncertainty is fine in rocket science!”

“This is not good marketing for my parachuting business”

“Its like a viking burial, but you’re not dead yet. Its like, being buried alive at a viking burial. Okay GO!”

she lets them feel her biceps

Game developers please take notes: when you allow for ‘muscular’ options for women, please give us arms that are at least this size! Not that dainty shit you keep pawning off on us.

…yeah, there’s something kinda hot about a woman who could rip you in half.

You can see the gay panic setting in on the one with the black skirt after she feels the bicep.

b/c i’ve never seen this post with her name in it i’m going to add it here.

Her name is Yeon-Woo Jhi and she won the Arnold Classic Europe in 2013.

I found the response for anyone else who was curious

Response is gold! I’d ALWAYS want a handmade gift more than some random store bought thing!

it would seriously never in a million years have occurred to me to think that a present of time and attention was not valuable. what the fuck is wrong with that person.

Thanks for your help! I figured it had also gotten fed up with me because I kept asking the same question. Should I attempt to ask the question again a few days from now and see what answers I get, or should I just go with what answer I was originally asking before I exhausted the question?

i say give it some time or ask it to expand on its original answer with details but if it is fed up, its fed up. give it space and time. Usually I don’t reask a question (unless its an emergency) for about a week or two, because you have to give things time to happen or change.

Hello! I was doing some divination readings today, and I got the same answer through different divination methods (I was just asking a simple yes/no question), but at some point I lost my focus, and when I asked the same question I got the opposite answer. Do you know why I might’ve gotten different answers for the same question, even though I was getting the same answer multiple times before?

Honestly it may just because you keep asking it so much, you must remember divination is never 100% certain. But it is like overthinking things. If you are too persistent on one question especially with things like working with spirits, tarot etc it can get ‘frustrating’ for them and they may just end up throwing out nonsense answers. I say its okay to do clarity checks like ‘could you elaborate on this answer’ but asking the same question over and over is like running up to a person and asking them the same question over and over. eventually they’ll get fed up with you.

I looooove angry, violent, aggressive and stupid guests arguing with me how things work and threatening me on camera. yeah, thanks for the anxiety you shitfaces. I do not feel bad for them when management gets a hold of them tomorrow morning, my manager has already told me they are going on the blacklist.

Also, cursing them. For sure. They are going to be cursed. So very very cursed. A very special curse.

Hey there! I’m planning to do a spell, and it requires anointing a piece of paper. What’s the best way to do that? I can’t seem to find an answer.

Anointing in witchcraft usually relates to using oils or sometimes perfumes during a spell or ceremony to give it a ‘blessing’ or to raise its energy. There are several ways to do it though most when anointing something will either do the 5 points that represent the 5 elements, some more Christian or Catholic witches anoint using the thumb and in a shape of a cross similar to the practice in churches or in the cardinal directions (North, south, east, west) which mimics the cross but holds less Christian representation. Though others do their own patterns or just anoint one point depending on what the spell or ritual is asking for. Such as anointing a candle most will just rub around the rim or anoint the top then bottom compared to anointing a person which may be only one or two spots on the persons forehead, chest and/or neck.

WITCHY REMINDER

All of these witchblrs that you are learning from, finding resources via, being inspired by, and asking for help are spending many many hours of their day working for free for your benefit. There are countless hours of research, practice, reading, trial-and-error, and personal evolution that lead to the knowledge we give out. Our insight is the product of our blood, sweat, and tears. It’s the accumulation of /so/ much effort and hard work.

What may look like a quick correspondence post, a tiny witch tip, or a simple reading likely took the knowledge of many days’ (or weeks, or months, or years) research and practice to build up to.

In order to answer your questions, they’ve probably had all of this as well as the rude anons, the accounts that demand free services, the hate mail, and the stress of everything else going on in their lives.

Please, thank your witchblrs. Learned something from a post? Say so? Like an idea? Compliment it! Have a favorite witchy blog? Go tell them how much you love them!!

There’s so much work that goes into this all. Please. Let your favorite blogs know how much you appreciate them. Gods know they deserve it.

Also a reminder that someone put all that together on their own time on their own dime. Do not disrespect content creators by Reposting.

Imma just say it since nobody else will. We didn’t need this lion king remake. CGI animation cannot improve a masterpiece.

i genuinely have no idea how the hell people can still get excited about yet another bad CGI live action Disney remake. The original movies still exist???

Or do these people genuinely believe that these films need to be adapted in live action because animation is an inferior art form made for children? It seems Disney – the company that became big thanks to its animated works – believes it to be so, at least.

right it hasnt even been that long since it came out. i could accept a remake if this was a 60s or 70s or even 80s movie but the original lion king only came out in 1994. nobody has forgotten about one of the greatest animated movies of all time. theres literally no reason for it to exist other than to be milked for money.

Not to mention they so rarely make new movies anymore a lot of them are sequels or these remakes or worse just essentially a retelling of a story they already make just changing the characters time. I honestly have been disappointed with disney recently.
