So, this chapter showed that Bum’s delusions/hallucinations (or fantasy/daydream) sometimes appear clearer than the other panels.
Bum starts off in the doorway, Sangwoo across the room.
Now, Bum is close enough that he simply reached his hand out and is able to touch Sangwoo. The white overlay isn’t as prominent in the next three panels.
Sangwoo suddenly speaks and Bum looks surprised and confused and notice…
He’s still in the doorway. Exactly where he was before.
I have to go back and check other chapters but it looks like before we see something only happening in Bum’s mind the panels showing what actually is happening get more hazy.
So bum actually didn’t stroke sangwoo’s hair and sangwoo didn’t lean to his touch like how cats do?

Like this scene is odd in a koogi way, but I honestly think he’s eating that way to try to show that he hasn’t eaten in a while at all and has just been hiding upstairs to the point that he is desperately shoving it into his face almost like an animal and is pretty much eating it off the floor. I think it was her way of trying to show its been couple of days since Sangwoo left and also further hinted at with him saying it must be bad.
Is it just me or Bum lied to Sangwoo? When he was opening up about his self harm and telling him he grew up with his grandparents, he said “I live with my uncle now”.
But he doesn’t?
When Sangwoo goes to Bum’s apartment to collect a bunch of his stuff it’s clear that he lives on his own, since he has stopped paying the rent and everything is messy (and there are his sex toys in the bathroom), so obviously no one else lives there.
It doesn’t make sense for the uncle to tell him “let’s go home”
Because they! Don’t! Live! Together!
Bum has his own (crappy and shabby) apartment!
This is just helping me to convince myself even more that he is hallucinating (read my previous theory where I talk about it if you want!)

What has been said in the notes makes me wonder: what if his uncle blackmailed him and let him live alone in exchange of more abuse and rape? Bum doesn’t work so he wouldn’t have the money to pay all the monthly bills of his apartment … If that’s the case, it would also make sense for his uncle to ask him if he was selling his body to his ‘new owner’ in exchange of living in Sangwoo’s house, since Bum must have not enough money of his own to live in complete independence.
I think what @koulej said was right since in this panel, it doesn’t look like their house when bum used to live when he was a child, this place look like Bum’s shabby apartment where he lives alone, but his uncle repeatedly came there to rape him

his uncle might made him drunk since we can see some wain bottles in his room, it doesn’t make any sense that Bum bought the wain by his own will, since he told Sangwoo that he never drink, but his uncle made him. or maybe not, since he said his uncle made him drunk in HIS room, not his. But who knows?

About the getting drunk thing, maybe Bum just referred to the first time uncle made him drink alcohol, which might have happened in his room back when they were still living together. What we see in the panels you posted might have happened later when he was living alone and his uncle visited him with bad intentions to ‘make him gain that money’. Maybe he brought some alcohol every time he visited.
Nasty… Urgh. Now, I truly understand why you don’t ever want to see your uncle, Bum. 😦 It’s make me wonder, if his uncle want to rape Bum, why do he want to make bum living alone? I think it’ll not cause any problem if he doing it at home and let bum keep living with his grandma?
All the reason I can think of is, his grandma might asking him to send Bum to the college, but he make bum living separately with his grandma so he can do all the nasty things to bum, without his grandma ever know + for paying his university fees. two birds in one stone? “oh do you want me to waste my money on your fucking college for filthy brat like you? Pay it with your body first”

Huh, for some reason I hadn’t considered that the uncle was paying for the apartment and Bum’s college. But of course. How else would Bum pay for it? That implies it was a pretty regular thing.
Not even a day after their vacation and Sangwoo is already back on his bullshit with mind fucking Bum. It turns out Sangwoo was texting Bum’s Uncle behind Bum’s back. saying he wanted him back and maybe all kinds of lewd things, we don’t know it’s Sangwoo after all.
I full on believe Sangwoo didn’t do this to “help” Bum he did it cause he a petty bitch. He left Bum to be caught off guard and scared of his uncle’s return. He left him unable to respond when the Uncle claimed Bum has been texting him or to explain why he’s living there. So when when Bum tries to break away his horrible Uncle beats and attempts to rape him. Only for Sangwoo to “save him” at the last second. I strongly believe he was waiting his time before stepping in.
Then in that terrifying moment *boom* he’s gone. That didn’t solve anything for Bum, he’s still scarred from the experience, and past experiences with his uncle.
Sangwoo yet again planting his thoughts into Bum. He wants Bum to have his twisted views on killing people. Time and time again Bum is uncomfortable or scared and Sangwoo tries to make Bum think it was the right thing.
Bum only wanted to forget him, forget about the pain, abuse, and betrayal that came with the Uncle. Bum never got to heal properly, he never got to say what he truly felt towards his uncle. How he brought pain to him or anything it was just a *struggle* *fight* then *gone*
Bum breaking down realizing again this “relationship” is wrong. He’s not going to have happiness and stability with Sangwoo. He’s an abusive murder with mental problems. Who doesn’t fully love him.
Bum’s anger is coming out who is plane out aware of Sangwoo and how dangerous he is. He even calls him crazy! Like he knows Sangwoo is capable of murder yet he shouts an insult at him. Sangwoo solved nothing for Bum. He figuratively opened up an old scar and left it up to bleed out.
I thought Bum’s Uncle was always an abusive asshole….. IT’S EVEN WORSE! He was actually kind and tried to connect with Bum when he was small. So many memories of him being kind to Bum only for him to betray him and abuse him when grew older. It’s a hard step to hate someone when good moments fog up your head.
Bum and Sangwoo do the same thing in fear they hide. Sangwoo hides from being caught for his bad actions. Bum hides in fear of being hurt.
The fact that Sangwoo had the nerve to call Bum dramatic after he committed yet ANOTHER reckless ass murder that NOBODY asked for in his own house, WITH CELL PHONE RECORDS, then wants to leave the body there just to go be a sulky bitch because his boyfriend didn’t praise him for killing one of his family members which could very easily get them both involved with the police AGAIN
Poor Bum, he truly thought Sangwoo would just change and enjoy his life together with him leaving his past behind … And he doesn’t even know about the woman he (almost?) killed during the skiing date.
I honestly thought bum was gonna be so affected mentally by what happened last chapter especially when sangwoo told him “ you thought I was your lover?” like being sad or crying or at least giving sangwoo the silent treatment again. But instead he was staring as sangwoo’s sleeping face all day 😆
But it’s kinda making me glad that both of them went on with thier life like nothing happened so no complaining
