Lunar Eclipse water can be used for matters involving

Items:

Instructions:
On the day of the lunar eclipse (August 7th), fill your container with water and set outside or in your windowsill before the peak of the eclipse (the time will depend on your location)

As someone who often makes impulsive buying decisions with an ungodly amount of money I don’t have, I needed to find a solution to make me stop.
I usually buy new things when I feel lonely or stressed – kind of a way to fill the emptiness. Waiting for all the new stuff to arrive is such an amazing feeling, but… once I hold them in my hands, I feel just as empty as before, while feeling horrible for spending so much money.
That’s why I had this little idea of making a little “Anti Impulsive Purchase Pouch”, to remind myself that it’s not always necessary to buy new things, and I wanted to share this little ‘ritual’ with you.
Materials I used:
Let me tell you one thing first!
This little pouch isn’t about a set amount of items that you’ll have to put inside. It’s about you becoming creative with whatever you have at home, so you won’t need to spend any money to do so.
I’ve opened all my drawers and digged out several items I found fitting for this very cause, and this was the first step in understanding something important:
“I own so many things and I don’t even realize that.”
That’s right – sometimes we only look at items we don’t have and feel the urge to buy these, but we often forget all these stunning items we already have at home.
So here is what I found for myself:
A silvern pouch in which I put all my items. If you don’t have a pouch, you can just use an old sock, or an old shirt, or whatever else you can find! It’s all about creativity, and making the best out of it!
A few coins I’d found, because this is all about being aware of how much money I spend, and on what I’ll spend it.
A lovely piece of Clear Quartz, charged with my intention to make wise buying decisions from now on. I am someone who asks their crystals for assistance first, and if it feels right, I know this crystal is up to help me!
A tiny bell, which, to me, symbolizes an ‘alarm bell’. Whenever I’m close to make a new purchase, I want an alarm bell to ring inside my head that makes me hesitate.
A dried leaf of white sage, charged in moonlight. I absolutely love white sage! It makes me feel happy and complete whenever I smell this scent, so of course, it has to go into my little bag!
A symbol I’ve drawn with closed eyes. I love making symbols for certain purposes, but I’m not really creative at all! That’s why I just close my eyes and let the pen run down the paper. If I like it, I’ll keep it as my personal symbol for this very reason.
And lastly, a key pendant I’d bought years ago. This is the key to self control!
I’ve cleansed and charged all these items with sage and intention, because that’s just what I enjoy doing. Let all the negativity out, while performing my own little ritual with the intention to not buy so many things I don’t need anymore.
While putting every item slowly into my little bag, I repeated the following affirmations over and over:
“I will only buy what I really need.”
“I make wise purchase decisions.”
“I’m creative with what I have.”
“I will think clearly before making a purchase.”
After closing the bag, I held it in my hands and moved it close to my heart, then repeated the affirmations yet again while imagining to cast silvern light into it.
And once that was done, I put it under my pillow, where I’ll leave it for quite a while.
I already keep thinking about it a lot, so I know it works just as intended!
If you still have to look at a guide book to read tarot you’re still a tarot reader! Needing a reference doesn’t make you any less talented, I can’t even order dinner unless I directly read it off the menu so 🤷🏻♀️

I’ve noticed something lately, as I’ve been getting reacquainted with my blog and trying to re-establish myself here.
There is this terribly toxic, and terribly abusive trend in the pagan/witchcraft community; a real “take-and-don’t-give-back” trend.
You see blogs, even ones with thousands of followers, who daily offer original posts, helpful resources, a friendly shoulder or listening ear to the rest of the community. They often try to reach out to provide extra resources, seeking out topics of interest, needs and desires of their audience in an attempt to help educate and come together with the masses, only to be ignored completely. They seek out these followers in an attempt to give them what they want or need, and these followers, who take all this information they share and write and post, and absorb it like sponges, but cannot give any feedback-not that they cannot but that they will not give feedback.
Offer free tarot readings and you’ll have more than you can handle. Offer spell requests and you’ll get anonymous hate when you can’t fulfill all 27 of them immediately. But provide any other services, one that takes more study and research and time and depth, and suddenly those 27 people have disappeared.
What happened to the close-knit community we had aspired to be, only a year or so ago? We talk about supporting each other, but where is the support? Where is the giving back? Blogs like mine that at one point were so focused on helping the general public shrink back away from the idea, at the risk of sounding “desperate” to be involved with the greater community on Tumblr. At the risk of receiving more anonymous hate for casting out a web and searching for anyone who may need help, advice, pointers, or a nudge in the right direction.
I would like to see a change. Where no one is afraid to ask for the help they need, where free tarot readings or spell requests or sigil creations are not abused but actually appreciated and treated with gratitude and respect. These people provide a service to benefit you, a quick “thank you for the reading” or a “that was really helpful” makes a world of difference to those who offer these services.
The people who tend to ask for help these days are mostly hoping someone with more experience will do the work for them, and they’re the same people who ask for 20 free readings in a day and get upset when you tell them something they may not want to hear. They’re the same people who cannot be bothered to read FAQ’s and guidelines made by certain users because they hope we will make an exception for them. They are the same people, our target audience, that we have made thousands of user friendly guides for and they still expect to be hand fed information.
We do what we can and still get stepped on and undermined.
Honestly the only thing I have ever asked for when I create content is feedback and unless I directly confront people I almost never get it. I have posts with literally thousands of notes and not a single comment on if my advice was helpful or my spell worked. It can be really disheartening and I’m not even one to constantly put out material, I can’t imagine how disappointing it must be for others who actively create a constant stream of content just to be ignored, or worse harrassed by people who feel entitled to their labor. Tbh I hardly ever offer free tarot readings anymore because of how demanding and cruel people can be.
Whenever I offer free readings I don’t really get any feedback. And now that I have more followers the best interactions I get are reblogs (which is great) but I used to get messages, and comments and asks. My stuff was also going like crazy and now I have to post my stuff to Facebook to even get something.

I am living in japan right now and let me tell ya:
There are people here who can’t speak or understand English who play nothing but Missy elliot and ludacris, even in businesses like housing offices and restaurants.
There are people who have cowboy hats and dead cow skulls in their home because they idolize what they assume American homes are like.
There are people who learn English strictly through music videos and American television shows.
There are entire karaoke bars with english songs often sung by people who have no idea what the lyrics mean.
Japan often takes American shows like the powerpuff girls and make japanese versions of them.
They often mistake common Americans for celebrities. I have been mistaken for Micheal jordan, tiger woods, Shaquille o’neal, Tyler perry, and saddest of all: queen latifa.
The act of sprinkling English into your japanese sentences is considered cute and cool and is popular with teenagers. Bonus points if you happen to use it correctly.
Japanese stores sell shirts with english on them and people buy them not knowing that most of those word combinations are nonsense.
Don’t let someone shame you for singing an anime opening, using japanese in your sentences, wearing clothing with japanese on it, ect. If anything, this is just one more thing that you have in common with them.
The American/Japanese cultural exchange is so pure and wonderful and I love it so much

Creature Feature– Erik X is an evil composer and organ player with a special gift for raising the dead.
Plastique Noir-the Brazilian band that made the song “Empty Streets” that’s just too dark to handle.
O. Children – contrary to popular belief, Tobi O’Kandi is not, in fact, a black reincarnation of Ian Curtis.
Thrill Kill Kult – sick industrial band with several poc members.
Dev Hynes – a British musician who started out in a punk band Test Icicles then went solo as a folk/indie musician as Lightspeed Champion and now is doing an electronic/R&B thing as Blood Orange.
L’Arc-en-Ciel – Okay, so these guys are Japan’s other most famous export. These guys got known outside of japan for doing some major anime theme songs (Fullmetal Alchemist, Gundam 00, NANA live action movie, etc) and were the first Japanese act to headline Madison Square Garden (Japanese rock bands really like New York for some reason). Their bassist tetsuya (formally known as tetsu) gets bonus points for being one of Japan’s only out LGBT celebrities (he’s Bi).
Gogol Bordello – self described as “gypsy punk”. Singer Eugene Hütz is Russian-Ukranian with Romani heritage and born with a ‘stache. Nearly crazier than Little Big and Korpiklaani combined.
Blasphemy – Black metal, the biggest irony on earth as Caller of the Storms remains one of the rare black musicians within the genre.
Babymetal – this Japanese trio is more metal than a viking woman on her period in the middle of a battlefield drinking the blood of her enemies to the sound of Immortal…for some at least.
Wicked Wisdom – Will Smith’s wife get a band?? Yes she Will.
Unlocking the Truth – these 13 year olds played in the streets of NYC before they opened for Living Colour.
Ego Fall – a Chinese folk metal band and also Corbac’s fave. Mixing tradition with heavier sounds.
Static X – Japanese guitarist Koichi Fukuda & Mexican-American bassist Tony Campos.
Sepultura – the founding members are all Brazilian, currently their lead singer (Derrick Green) is black. “Arise” is a massive album of pure metal awesomeness.
Tenger Cavalry – a folk metal band based out of Bejing who describe their style as “Mongolian folk metal”. Like this and you’d probably enjoy Ego Fall.
Cthonic – Taiwanese metal band who’s lead singer is also the president for the Taiwanese branch of Amnesty International.Most of their music deals with their goal of an independent Taiwan and they’re really REALLY great.
Invasion – a stoner/psych-metal band fronted by a valkyrie space wizard out of London.
Vodun – like invasion, marries punk, psychedelic, and doom metal influenced instrumentals with soul influenced vocals to create a unique and original takes on doom metal.
Body Count– Ice T’s metal band rules. It would be a little tastier with ice cubes though.
Hirax – pioneering thrash/speed metal band (with hardcore influences). Katon De Pena is one of the most distinctive vocalists of the then-burgeoning California metal scene. Though they never achieved the success of some of their contemporaries like Metallica or Slayer, they have long been an insiders’ favorite and cited as an influence by bands ranging from Napalm Death to Cannibal Corpse to Darkthrone.
X Japan – Probably Japan’s most famous metal export. These guys are the reason Visual Kei (basically Japan’s gothic metal scene) exists. All those flashy JRock bands wouldn’t exist without X Japan. They also recently just played a huge show at Madison Square Garden.
Maximum the Hormone – Also known as “the guys that did that weird opening and ending to death note”, MTH do a fantastic combination of metal, punk, and even pop. The best part about MTH is that their lyrics don’t make sense even when translated so you can just have mindless fun listening to them even if you understand Japanese.
Suffocation – one of the most influential death metal acts of all time. Terrance Hobbs’ incredible mastery of the guitar allowed the band to blend complex technicality into the genre without sacrificing raw brutality.
Acrassicauda – Iraqi heavy metal. There is a film called “Heavy Metal in Baghdad”, about the band. Another documentary called Global Metal, which is by the same director as Heavy Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey, is highly recommended.
Sigh – one of the first japanese black mack metal bands led by a fierce lady.
BIS (Brand-New Idol Society) – considered “alternative Japanese idols”, and have done some amazing things including recruiting a new member who was rumored to be a high school girl and turned out to be Junko Koshino, a famous fashion designer who is 74 yrs old. Their song + video for MURA-MURA is excellent.
Go Betty Go – chicano rock, “pop punk”. Several of their songs are in Spanish.
ELLEGARDEN – JAPAN’S BEST 90s/EARLY 2000s POP PUNK ROCK EXPORT I’M NOT EVEN KIDDING. Part of what contributes to this is Takeshi Hosomi (singer/rhythm guitarist) writing ¾ of the band’s discography in perfect english. Unfortunately they went on hiatus in 2006, but that spawned two more fantastic bands: Takeshi does experimental progressive indie in the HIATUS (its the same guy I swear), and guitarist Shinichi Ubukata formedNothing’s Carved In Stone which is basically a Japanese alt. rock supergroup.
Shonen Knife – you can’t talk about japanese girl rock without the literal originators of the movement/popularity. Because Kurt Cobain said he listened them, a HUGE surge of all girl bands started popping up over Japan.
Oh I have a lot of pieces of advice but my biggest one: research for yourself. Log off of tumblr and look at as much research as you can. Don’t ingest or burn anything without research. Take notes and explore on your own. Others can help you but its up to you to discover your own path.

I love Nyx Liquid Lipsticks. I have so many colors of it. I love just lipstick in general, liquid or stick. I use covergirl outlast lipstain as well. When it comes to mascaras I use mostly covergirl. I like ELF face powders though I’m allergic to most cream and liquid foundations so I don’t use them. Eye shadow I like lots of pigment so I use a little of everything.
Foods range, I honestly love food. I enjoy bbq a lot especially smoked foods, I am a huge seafood fan, I love salads and soups. Bread is a major weakness for me. Sometimes just a good bowl of soup is all I need too. I love veggies and fruits. The only foods I do not like are: butter frosting, cake frosting in general (excluding cream cheese), blueberries and scallops.
I’m hungry and I can’t find anyone to cover my shift for my lunchbreak. It was suppose to be 2 hours ago :,)
