in 1994 when green day first became famous, they invited pansy division, an openly gay punk band, to open for them for the entire dookie tour knowing full well the responses would be mixed. in 2016/2017, on their revolution radio tour, green day chose only female led punk bands to open for them to help create recognition for these artists in a male dominated scene. this band has always been using their voices for the right reasons and i love them so much for that.

And Against Me! Is opening for them too! A band fronted by a trans woman! Fuck yeah Green Day

If I’m not mistaken, there was a prom somewhere that was cancelled one time because a lesbian couple wanted to go, so Green Day rented a venue and had a prom for them. Not sure about accuracy, my mom told me about that

yes this is true as well!! green day helped to fund and organize this second prom when the first one was cancelled. the second prom was actually open not only to the students of the school, but also to any other lgbtq+ students as well as supporters in the state of mississippi who wanted to attend as well!!

Billy Joe Armstrong once literally leapt into the crowd at Green Day show and drop-kicked a guy who wouldn’t leave a girl alone.

Billy joe is bisexual btw

I love how during the 2016 election, Green Day was voicing their opinions about “Fuck Trump, fuck fascist USA” and stuff like that and everybody was all “When did Green Day get so political?” like bitch that’s their basis of function have you listened to ANY of their songs?

Spirits and Names

macabre-incarnate:

It used to be fully understood that the same rules to do not apply to every species of spirit. Of course they wouldn’t. it would be ignorant to think that right? Yet spirit workers do it everyday and harass those who don’t fall in line with their misguided rules. You saw the title of this post, you know what this is about, spirits and the topic of names. Everyone knows the faerie rule that you don’t tell faeries your name and you don’t ask for theirs, instead you ask what you may call them and tell them what they may call you. This way you are not lying by saying ‘my name is -insert false name’ and you aren’t giving them you real name. Now not all fae will use your name against you somehow, some don’t care, but it is always better to be safe then sorry. This is all understandable and reasonable. This is something people have said about faeries for a long, long time, yet this is where the lines start to get blurred and people loose their heads. Faeries rules only apply to faeries.

It’s what makes it a faeries rule. You wouldn’t assume an angel’s culture, rules, and the way you work with them is the same as a vampires, so why is this the exception? When did it stop becoming a faerie rule are start becoming a spirit work rule that causes you to get attacked if you don’t follow it. I will be honest with you, I don’t know. I think it may have something to do with the topic of summoning and spirit stealing. While it isn’t as big of a problem as people like to act like it is there are those small few assholes that can and will steal people companions. Why? Usually out of some misguided sense of justice. We all know the type, the spirit worker who acts like their life is a YA novel and that they have to save spirits from the evil clutched of tumblr usesr faeriewhispers33  (i don’t know if that’s an actual user i just made it up). Anyway, it leads to people being paranoid. More and more you see posts along the lines of ‘NEVER POST YOUR SPIRIT COMPANIONS NAME’ and ‘DONT TELL SPIRITS YOUR NAME’ and they always use the faerie rule to back up their argument, suddenly it’s no longer out of fear that someone will use your companions name as a way to summon them and steal them from you now it’s for your safety.

Here the thing, it’s almost impossible to keep a spirit from learning your name if you work with them outside of the astral. Most spirit workers love to work with their companion in their home, it’s easier then astral travel. Yet there are dozens of people in your life that could metaphorically ‘spill the beans’ just by greeting you or calling you for dinner. It is impossible to keep something as simple as your name a secret. This may shock you a bit but, most spirits don’t care what your name is. Why? because they aren’t faeries and these rules don’t apply to them.

Now on the topic of your companions names. Some people don’t say their companions names publicly because that is the spirits preference, most people have a nickname for their companion in these cases but let me share a secret with you. The chance that your companions name is a name that exists in the human language is slim and 50% of the time the name you are given is a nickname. Not because the spirit doesn’t trust you with their name, but because their name is not translatable or pronounceable in our language. This is also why a lot of people who attempt to use a Ouija board to get a spirits name get a button mashed fuckery of random letters that make no sense. I can guarantee your companions name isnt KXGJA. Now there are a few times where the name can be translated and it does manage to match up with a human name or just something pronounceable. So while you should respect your companions wishes and keep their name a secret if they want, even if it’s a nickname, don’t jump to conclusions and attack those whose companions couldn’t care less.

I am not threatening my companions by using their ‘names’ on the internet, they don’t care. If they did care, I wouldn’t do it. In case it wasn’t clear enough.

my hot take as someone who has experienced the lowest of lows in terms of severe depression and anxiety and executive dysfunction: the whole “not everyone is neurotypical karen” mindset is legitimately damaging and destructive and ultimately will make you feel worse and more isolated

eating well and exercising and etc absolutely helps with mental illness. obviously it’s irritating to hear that when those things feel like impossible tasks, i get that, and i’ve been there. but forcing yourself to eat better, to walk more, to get up out of bed and shower even when you don’t want to, those things help. they clear your head. they make you feel better. they absolutely do. getting there is hard, but once you do it, it does help

rejecting any kind of help, even the most benign suggestion, from someone who is trying their best to think positively for you and shoulder the emotional burden with you, is going to make you feel worse. it’s going to make you feel that much more cut off and lonely and frustrated. i have isolated myself and ruined friendships with people because i chose to close myself off from people who were just trying to help and i convinced myself that they didn’t understand me and no one would ever understand me. what did that get me in the end? genuinely nothing. it made me feel even more alone.

in 2018 i encourage people who suffer like i have to see where people are coming from with cheesy self-care advice. they’re coming from the heart. and sometimes, doing a face mask or taking a hot bath or eating a nutritious meal or getting up to watch the sunrise or even just one yoga class can make you feel that much closer to the person you want to be. a lot of recovery from mental illness is “fake it till you make it” type shit. so don’t reject even the corniest advice because you are convinced it won’t help you. sometimes it really does. and you shouldn’t keep denying yourself even the smallest of victories because you feel like it’s easier to wallow in how bad you feel. it is so difficult to do good things for yourself and your body, but it is so rewarding

I’m probably saying too much, but I’m biased. Once upon a time, there were baku pillows made for children. There’s still many statues of them at shrines, for they are holy beasts. But Japan has a culture that’s very polite, very considerate. Even though warnings exist in the myths, perhaps baku are ‘more dangerous’ in Western culture because of that? America, at least, values individualism, capitalism, and speaking your mind. Bakus are meant to serve.

I feel a bit lost here, I’m sorry. Likely its because it’s late and I pulled a 10 hour shift today, but I don’t think bakus are meant to serve. I don’t think any spirit is meant to serve us.

How nice that you say that. Turns out some of those roleplay blogs had real spirits attached. They’re a flexible type, no? Dancing all over the line of reality and fantasy whenever they can. The sort I work with use contracts, but because of that, they’re even more heavy on the ‘isn’t this what you wanted?’ To an extent, I get that. The lore says they get greedy if you depend on them too much, and humans get very greedy themselves in dreams where there are ‘no consequences.’

exactly, and I don’t personally work with contracts

Ahh. I originally found out about them through pop culture. You might find it funny to know that at one point, there were probably a dozen or two roleplay baku blogs on tumblr, all based on a certain baku from a certain iteration of the myth, and all squabbling over territory with each other.

hahaha that’s interesting, yeah many people don’t realize theres more than just one type and there are other species and creatures from other eastern lore very similar to the baku. Mostly people mistake the legends as meaning they only eat bad dreams when in fact, even in lore, they are described as feeding off of many things depending on the baku itself

Do you work with baku personally?

I have had many experiences with them and have had to ask one to leave the home of someone’s before (he was feeding off of her emotional energy). I have only worked truly with one once before while dream walking and he helped me out with a spell for a free meal of some of my excess energy.

the ones I have encountered have been rather relaxed and calm, and when asked to leave someone alone or stop feeding off of someone they usually do stop. but from what they have told me, if they are invited in they are harder to get rid of because they feel like its rude for you to invite them in and then ask them to leave.

Anti-Nightmare Charm

the-house-of-shadows-gn:

Carve the words “Baku, Baku, eat my dreams” into your headboard. This is an invocation which will draw a baku, a spirit which eats bad dreams. This will also keep away nightmares (spirits), night hags, and darker sex demons. Please see the following link for more information.

http://yokai.com/baku/

I had this carved on my old headboard for years ever since I got caught unaware by a night hag. Never had so much as a whiff of a bad dream since. As a side-note most incubi and succubi are really nice people. They just have a bad rap since because they liked cheering up lonely people. Most of them aren’t infernal in nature either.

For those with little baku experience or knowledge try avoid this. Not all bakus eat nightmares. Many eat other things like rest, good dreams, and even ambitions. Please talk eith the baku in question to ensure they eat only nightmares.

Storm Witch Tip:

crow-witch:

A storm is likely to come when:

  • deciduous trees flip their leaves due to wind direction
  • birds fly low in the sky, and go quiet
  • there’s a southerly wind (in the US)
  • there’s a red dawn in the east
  • layers of nimbus clouds move in opposite directions
  • the morning grass is dry of dew
  • an earthy scent rises from the soil and flowers
  • pine cones remain closed
  • a halo rings the moon at night
  • nights are warm in winter (cloud cover insulation)
  • smoke swirls and descends, instead of a steady rise

Remember, low pressure brings wet weather.

💜 self-love witch bottle spell 💜

lunarvvitch:

image

Hey sweet spirits! I made this witch bottle spell to help me be kinder to myself and not let others’ aggressions harm me.

Ingredients:

  • Sea salt
  • Rose petals
  • Lavender (I used lavender oil)
  • Clove buds
  • Basil
  • Rosemary
  • Allspice
  • Moon water
  • A small piece of yellow paper
  • A pen
  • A deep blue or violet candle
  • A medium glass bottle (I get mine in bulk from Amazon)
  • Clear quartz chips OR a piece of quartz

Instructions:

  1. This spell should be performed during a Full or First quarter moon.
  2. Light your candle. While the candle burns, draw a sigil on your yellow paper. I used “I WILL LOVE MYSELF” to make mine, but I unfortunately forgot to take a photo of the sigil before I popped it in the bottle!
  3. After slipping the sigil into the bottle, fill it with just a pinch each of the salt and herbs. Top it off with just a couple drops of moon water.
  4. If possible, throw some clear quartz chips in there. I didn’t have any, so I just charged it next to a larger piece of quartz.
  5. Use the candle wax to seal the bottle.
  6. Charge the bottle under the moon overnight and be sure to fetch it before the sun comes up.

I keep mine under my desk where I spend most of my time studying and working.

Why is it wrong to just search “magical associations of xyz crystal or herb” and use what you find?

lunaesteria:

ofwoodandbone:

Because that information has a lot of holes in it.
For one thing, one word associations don’t do any plant justice. Each of those plants and trees has a long history of uses, mythological beliefs, and folklore behind them. One word is not ever going to sum that up, and neither is a single search for it.
For another thing, those associations were likely pulled out of the author’s hat with no real effort being put into the process. Either that, or copied from another google search that said the same thing. Again, this totally misrepresents the history of uses behind the plant.
For a final bit, it’s perhaps the most lazy approach to magic that you could possibly take. You want to know what that plant does? Find out. Use it in magic. Ask it. Feel around with it. Don’t take someone else’s word for anything. Find out what you can from the plant.
If you don’t put effort into your craft, it’ll show. Those great magicians, healers, and witches built their practices. They learned about the components they used, the history, and the ritual. The put themselves into their practice.

It doesn’t take much effort to look up the history and practical use of these herbs – for example, associating rosemary with banishing because of its use for pest control; or associating it with healing because of its natural astringent and antibacterial properties. Lavender can be associated with calming and relaxation because research shows that it can have soothing, calming, and sedating effects on the human body. Same with chamomile. Valerian is commonly used as a natural sleep aid. Etc.

Crystal correspondences seem to be a little more difficult to find information on, aside from the folklore and mythology behind their use.

Anyway, my point is, it’s not hard to research these things for yourself. It’s good to know the roots of the correspondences you use in your craft.

888-276-6760 – The 24-hour Klu Klux Klanline where you can get a FREE INFORMATION BOOKLET!!!!1!

866-740-4531 – Only responds with “I am Groot”

206-569-5829 – Seattle radio station “Loser Line”. If they leave a weird voicemail, it could get broadcast over the airwaves.

There’s also
855-523-9386 which will respond to the caller with a robot beat boxing Korn’s “Freak on a Leash”.

Who knew so many weird almost useless phone numbers existed?

This is wonderful

No. Get a google voice number which when dialed your phone will actually ring. Then when he calls, don’t answer, and block it. That way if he decides to call your number right then and there to make sure it isn’t fake, you’re not in a sticky, potentially murderous situation.

This is normal in Puerto Rican culture as well. Parents here don’t tell their kids to move out. They can move out whenever they feel ready. I’m 35 and I still live with my parents and I never saw that as weird. Many people live with their parents or other family members here, especially in this economy.

In Chile is almost shameful to leave you family too young!! Your parents expect you to live with them, unless you get married or find a job somewhere far, if not you are staying forever. It’s only more well off families that can send their children to work at the capital, and most families stay very close together, so it’s not common at all for young adults to leave alone.

In Nigeria it’s normal, and even when you get married it’s customary to live in the same compound or at the very least near your parents.

Even among non-Anglo whites it *was* common up until relatively recently for children to stay home until they were marrying or had enough saved for a down payment on their own home (or could comfortably afford to rent, if they happened to be working farther from home)

My point being, this is just another bullshit “individualist” lie cooked up to screw ppl financially

In 1942 a British forest guard in India made an alarming discovery. Some 16,000 feet above sea level, at the bottom of a small valley, was a frozen lake absolutely full of skeletons. –Source

A photo of the incident

The skeletons are not even the weird part.

“As it turns out, all the bodies date to around 850 AD. DNA evidence indicates that there were two distinct groups of people, one a family or tribe of closely related individuals, and a second smaller, shorter group of locals, likely hired as porters and guides. Rings, spears, leather shoes, and bamboo staves were found, leading experts to believe that the group was comprised of pilgrims heading through the valley with the help of the locals. All the bodies had died in a similar way, from blows to the head. However, the short deep cracks in the skulls appeared to be the result not of weapons, but rather of something rounded. The bodies also only had wounds on their heads, and shoulders as if the blows had all come from directly above. What had killed them all, porter and pilgrim alike?Among Himalayan women there is an ancient and traditional folk song. The lyrics describe a goddess so enraged at outsiders who defiled her mountain sanctuary that she rained death upon them by flinging hailstones “hard as iron.” After much research and consideration, the 2004 expedition came to the same conclusion. All 200 people died from a sudden and severe hailstorm.Trapped in the valley with nowhere to hide or seek shelter, the “hard as iron” cricket ball-sized [about 23 centimeter/9 inches circumference] hailstones came by the thousands, resulting in the travelers’ bizarre sudden death. The remains lay in the lake for 1,200 years until their discovery.”

I tried to ward my house for the first time today. I was doing well, and I managed to protect part of my house, but then I got distracted and had to stop. I haven’t been able to finish it, and I’m really drained of energy now. Does that mean my ward worked, if only partially? And is it dangerous to leave a spell unfinished?

I think yes you likely did half ward and if you are worried for the rest of your home a nice simple ‘ward’ you can do is fill a jar with rice and draw an eye on the lid and keep it near the window. it wards off negative energy for short times

Hey nami, let’s say in your dreams you accidentally Astral project to an area that (my intuition strongly tells me was) a fae territory. Let’s say in your dreams your kinda like a really stubborn drunkard, so your like “k im gonna walk to the end of this street then I’ll go back i just wanna see the fireflies bro” and you spend about 30 seconds in a territory your warned to leave before actually doing it. Do you think this would invoke their wrath or do you think I’d be ok? Thank you so much :-)

I am certainly not the one to ask about fae. I do not work with fae at all mostly because I don’t trust myself around them. Fae can be major tricksters, best you ask someone who is more fae oriented.

caligula had anime eyes

wait romans painted their marble sculptures

it looks like a cheap theme park ride mascot

yep

here’s a statue of Augustus

and here’s a reproduction of the statue with the colors restored

i honestly think that what we consider the height of sculpture in all of Western civilization being essentially the leftover templates of gaudy pieces of theme park shit to be evidence of the potential merit of found art

“I tried coloring it and then I ruined it”

And you know what the funniest part is? The paint didn’t just wear off over time. A bunch of asshole British historians back in the Victorian era actually went around scrubbing the remaining paint off of Greek and Roman statues – often destroying the fine details of the carving in the process – because the bright colours didn’t fit the dignified image they wished to present of the the cultures they claimed to be heirs to. This process also removed visible evidence of the fact that at least some of the statues thus stripped of paint had originally depicted non-white individuals.

Whenever you look at a Roman statue with a bare marble face, you’re looking at the face of imperialist historical revisionism.

(The missing noses on a lot of Egyptian statues are a similar deal. It’s not that the ancient Egyptians made statues with strangely fragile noses. Many Victorian archaeologists had a habit of chipping the noses off of the statues they brought back, then claiming that they’d found them that way – because with the noses intact, it was too obvious that the statues were meant to depict individuals of black African descent.)

There’s a lot of good academic discussion about chromophobia in modern Western aesthetics and how it links to colonialism.

a couple of general points:

1) the reason the reconstructions here look like “the leftover templates of gaudy pieces of theme park shit” is because they’re reconstructions. this is not actually what these statues looked like, and in my opinion they do roman art a massive disservice. the reason they look so “gaudy” (which is actually the exact same colonial attitude that led directly to the literal whitewashing of graeco-roman art, nice, very nice) is because the colours have been applied flat, with no shading or blending to give the impression of shadow. looking at contemporary roman portraiture, it’s clear that they did actually have quite a sophisticated grasp of shading and colouring, and to imagine that they would just suddenly forget how to do the dark bits when they were painting on stone is ludicrous. for context, this is a portrait of paquius proculo, a fresco from pompeii, dating from around 20-30AD, ten years earlier than that bust of caligula:

image

(also of interest in this regard are the fayum mummy portraits, dating from the second century AD; again, although they are of varying quality, the best of them demonstrate a clear understanding of shading. for example:

image

and, to be honest: do you really think a civilisation that produced this

image

just, what, didn’t get paint? these reconstructions are laughable, not because they’re colourful but because they’re presenting an incredibly sophisticated culture as unable to understand simple artistic concepts; something that i think itself contributes to the idea of colourfully painted statues being ‘silly’ and ‘gaudy’, which again is an incredibly colonially-influenced idea.

2) the reason graeco-roman statues are often missing the noses is because most excavated statues are generally missing the noses. they are fragile. the head of a statue is basically a football with details; the nose is the only protruding part and is comparatively narrow and thin (as opposed to, say, an arm or leg, which takes more force to break off but is still very much detachable, c.f the venus di milo) and is very, very easy to break off. although i am absolutely the last person to deny the racism that has been present in classics, the noses thing is really not a great example.

Many sculptures from antiquity were defaced during the early Christian period. During riots, Christian mobs would smash the noses off of ‘pagan’ sculptures, as they usually depicted pagan gods, or emperors, and depending on the sect, any depiction of a person could be considered ‘graven’.

The hotbed of Christian zealotry was Egypt. Throughout its time as a Roman, and then ‘Byzantine’ province during its early Christian history, the province proved practically unmanageable due to its Christian theological riots, with the majority of the population not following Constantinople’s doctrine and theological orders.

This Roman bust of Germanicus at the British Museum was defaced – nose smashed off – during a riot that would have taken place in late antiquity in Egypt, so, 400-500AD [also, note the cross etched into forehead]

Probably the most known example of this is the destruction of the Alexandrian Serapeum, a vast temple complex in Alexandria, Christian mobs tore the temple apart, destroying and looting, tearing it down brick by brick.

Another example, outside of Egypt, is the Nika Revolts in Constantinople. On its creation as a co-capital of the Roman Empire, an unfathomable amount of art and sculpture was brought to adorn the New Rome, and during the revolt, for the most part this cream of the classical crop was destroyed, again, by theological mobs.

After Egypt’s conquest during the Arab-Islamic conquests, this practice would have continued. In fact, theologically, many of Egypt’s Christian sects were more in line with Islamic theology than what became mainstream Christianity in both ‘Orthodox’ and ‘Catholic’ doctrine.

Basically, if you want to know what happened to sculptures from antiquity, Abrahamic faiths happened to them. We divorce classical and ancient sculptures from their meaning – we see them as history or art, but to the new faiths, they were graven images, they were pagan, and they were destroyed or defaced.

I like this version of the thread. It has actual history in it not just “Victorian assholes” did it (which this thread also seems to be the only thing I ever see about Victorians removing paint from statues).

Sachets? Those work well…

Alternatives to jars:

  • baggies or ziplock things (as long as there is no liquid in them)
  • plastic containers or jars
  • sachets, clothe bags or drawstring pouches (only if there is no fresh ingredients or liquids)
  • tupperware
  • sewn holders like mini pillows, shapes, and pouches (again only if there is no fresh ingredients or liquid)
  • a piece of cloth tied shut tightly with a ribbon or string

Also, if you’d rather make dead kids than have the possibility of your own kid become autistic you are garbage

Vaccinate. Your. Fucking. Children.

Honestly, just vaccinate your children, for themselves and others around them like above.

Herd immunity is a huge part of how we came so far as a society. Don’t be a fucking medieval asshat. Vaccinate. Your. Kids.

Vaccinate your kids you stupid stupid people

No.

Then keep them away from the rest of us. I also hope you never have children, because that should be considered abuse.

I have children. They aren’t vaccinated. I wasn’t vaccinated. Nor were my brothers and sisters or cousins. Vaccines do not prevent diseases. Modern sanitation and plumbing. Every country that still has these diseases are the ones that are underdeveloped. They bring them vaccines and it only makes them sicker since their immune systems are already weak. I also know several moms who are nurses who don’t vaccinate.

Just when you think Tumblr can’t get any worse.

@hannie-mylove Uh that part where you said you know of nurse moms that don’t vaccinate…yeah that’s a lie. There is no reputable clinic/hospital that will hire a nurse that hasn’t been vaccinated. Furthermore all surgeons get vaccinated or they cannot cross into the OR.

Also it’s been PROVEN that the paper that correlated vaccinations with autism a complete lie and its author a fucking idiot.

Gotta love retards arguing against vaccinations in 2018.

Honestly, there shouldn’t even be a religious exemption to not vaccinating your children (which is how a lot of mom’s get their kids in school unvaccinated). You do it or they can’t go to a public school. Home school them if you’re so adamant your way is the right one.

Vaccinate you’re fucking children you primitive asshats.

Anti-vaxxers are doing so much harm, not only are you putting your own damn children at risk you are putting others at risk like cancer patients and people who, like this girl, had organ transplants. Normally I am very nice on this blog and I don’t like drama, but one thing I will say is fuck you anti-vaxxers, keep your kids away from others or educate yourselves.

You figure out who their leader is, go for #3 or #4 in the group, who is generally much cuter and a bit more shy. This is why he ranks high, but not too high. You go hard on this dude. You hold his hand and smile at him. You don’t even have to go further. Dude #3 is just bewildered you brushed off #1. This makes the dude at the top antsy. It causes dissent in the ranks. Your friends can now swoop in, picking from the remaining dudes as they start to scatter in the wind. They have lost all sense of self. You have secured free drinks for the rest of the night. And whatever else your genitals desire.

Trial and error, trial and error. I practice a lot of my spells. Those I don’t get to try immediately I don’t usually post and keep them in the drafts. I base my spells after self experience, correspondences and just I suppose overall experience I’ve had with magick since I’ve been making and writing spells for quite some time ^-^

Hi! Im so sorry to bother you, but I’ve taken a bit of an interest in witchcraft. The thing is, I have no clue where to start with it;; could you possibly point me in the right direction? Again, I’m sorry to bother you but I figured you would be the best person to ask + I see you as someone nice and reliable,,,,,

hi!! I am very new as well. Just a tiny teensy baby witch.

I am constantly asking questions every day to my witch mom, who happens to have really amazing guides for beginners! Go check out @themanicnami

Also, if you search “witchy” on my blog that’s what i tag all of my witchy posts and reblogs, most of which are the ones that are teaching and taught me!

I’m on mobile so i can’t give you proper links but if you want to be more personal with it feel free to send me a message and i will happily send you any future links and posts as well that may be helpful to you ❤️

Of course I am happy to help you out anon ^-^ I’m even about to post my next Beginner’s Guide this weekend about grimoires! But I am always happy to help young/new witches with questions. Feel free to message me or send me asks

i think the disney company somehow forgot that you can make a character attractive AND expressive

IN 2D ANIMATION, YES. CGI IS MUCH DIFFERENT AND MUCH HARDER TO FORM DIFFERENT EXPRESSIONS AND FACES OH MY GOD

Bonus Barbie!

Please, don’t undermine the skills of modelers, riggers, and animators.

And two fun facts:

•The Incredibles was the first PIXAR film to feature humans to the scale that they did and I think they pulled off expressions on ALL their characters pretty damn well.

•Jessica Rabbit was hand inked, hand painted, and hand airbrushed on celluloid and manually composited into each scene, but they didn’t sacrifice how expressive she was just because animation is hard.
